Choir and Music

The place of Music within the school will assume prime importance with the building of the new Performing Arts Centre to commence before the end of 2010. To that end, some new ventures have recently been set up. 

In the Elementary School, two different choirs were established in 2010.

The first choir is the Performance Choir. This group takes part in competitions and events at both the local and national level. It involves students from throughout the Elementary School. Recent performances have included Founders Day, at which the choir sang tributes to Pak Ciputra, the founder of the Ciputra Group and the Yayasan under which Sekolah Ciputra operates.

The second Elementary School choir performs mainly within the school, also involving students from throughout the school.

The High School has set up a string ensemble which performed recently at Founders Day.

The High School also has a choir which performs on special occasions, a variety of rock bands and a concert band.
